Lucky Loved It
posted 5 years ago
Lucky loved this cage and especially loved lying on the shelves. The shelves I had were made of wood and he layed on it so much they almost buckled :) The bottom of my cat was linoleum so it was easy to clean. It is a big contraption though so in a one bedroom apartment, it was a big of an eyesore. I did keep his litterbox in there so litter wasn't all over the place. It worked wonders when he was a kitten too because he wasn't all over the house destroying everything while I was at work. He did enjoy it.
Pros: Keeps Messes In
Cons: Sometimes hard to clean

GREAT Playpen
posted 5 years ago
These playpens (with shelves - a must) are so great. I have one of my own, since I have had many a drop-off cat, caught strays and had to hold them overnight until the vet opened, and then keep them until their s/n healed, and also, for fostering litters I've done. This is a lifesaver - easy to clean, gives them room. Just put a blanket over the top that hangs a bit over the sides, and put the shelves kind of high, and the strays feel safe. The shelter has many, and I want many more there. The cats at the shelter who are real scared get more socialized over time by being in these in the lobby, thus a better chance for adoption. They are just great playpens - and can roll them around on the casters - easy.
Pros: rescues, foster, shelters - room, visibility, companionship
Cons: none at all

Need more caging?!
posted 4 years ago
Our shelter has several of these that we use to put cats and kittens in when space becomes an issue. They are on wheels which makes them easy to relocate.
We often have some in the main lobby and place the cats who have been with us the longest in the cages. Nine times out of ten....they always get adopted!
These are a great thing to encourage a donor to buy for your facility.
Pros: none
Cons: none

Great for kittens
posted 5 years ago
We used this playpen to foster kittens and sometimes an adult cat if it was sick or needed to be separated from the others. It is really nice for kittens because the wire is close together and there is no chance of them squeezing out.
Pros: Kitten size, okay for a adult cat for short periods
Cons: None

Great to use when fostering kittens
posted 5 years ago
This is a great cage to use when fostering kittens because it's large enough to hold 4-6 kittens comfortably and they can lay/play on the shelves.
Pros: large ,easy to clean, can hold 4-6 kittens comfortably
Cons: can be hard to set up, expensive
