Cat Playpen W/2 Benches & Doors

The shelter I volunteer at uses these cat playpens. They last a long time. In fact some are getting replaced by new ones from Dr. Fosters and Smith--the price is reasonable at $169. Great feature to be able to move them around for cleaning.

I originally purchased the Playpen for a senior cat who was having bladder control issues. I have found the Playpen to be useful for cats that need to be temporarily contained, like kittens who can't be trusted with full run of the house yet or cats recovering from surgery who need to restrict their movement. The two access doors make it easy to access the occupants either from near the top or from the bottom of the pen. The washable floor makes it easy to clean. When it's not needed, it is easy to disassemble and store for future use. If you have a cat over 10 lbs., you will want to shore up the shelves with some beefier brackets.
