I think this is adorable, and on occasion, on a trip home from the vet, I let one of the cats out of the carrier and roam around the car. I bet if this were in the seat, they wouldlike it, because they don't really want to be trapped in the carrier, yet like that "sheltered" feeling. I might try it.
