Constructed of rugged ABS plastic with a steel wrapped cord, the Lectro-Kennel can lie flat on the doghouse floor or be attached to the wall. The product packing advises purchasers not to cover the entire doghouse floor with the Lectro-Kennel so that the animal can choose whether to lie on or against the heated pad. When mounting on a wall, precaution is needed not to drill through or puncture the pad electrical components in any way. When used with a Lectro-Temp Control the Lectro-Kennel is an excellent whelping pad.
