For busy dogs! Keep your dog dry and ever so fashionable in her Wind & Raincoat. This lightweight raincoat has a Velcro® closure that runs the entire back length of the coat. You simply open the coat and your dog steps into the two leg openings. Then close the coat, adjust the elastic stretch cord around the waist and you are ready to go stylin'. There are also Velcro® closures in the leg openings. It comes with a detachable hood for those "monsoon" days when you simply have to go outside. It covers the underside of your dog but males can still do their business outdoors. The coat is made of a Nylon/polyester material. A water sealant (not rubberized) is applied to the inside. 100% wind and waterproof fabric. Machine washable, hang dry. Measuring Your Dog -- For a good fit, measure your dog from the base of the collar to the spot where the tail joins the body . Your dog should be standing square, not sitting or slouching. That measurement provides a coat length guideline for your dog. If you'd like to measure the girth, measure around the chest behind the front legs at the widest point. If your dog is long and skinny you can go with a shorter coat to get a better girth fit (or you may decide that these coats aren't right for your dog). If your dog is low to the ground, you would have to pull the coat legs up or you may need to have the jacket adjusted. Size Tiny is for dogs with a length of 8"-11" and a girth of up to 15". Returning a Coat -- Most returns are due to guessing at the size rather than taking the time to measure. There is a conditional 15% restocking fee on clothing. If we need to remove the hair from the item, we will charge a 15% restocking fee for the cleaning service. If you do return a clothing item, take the time to clean the dog hair from it. Sticky tape or a lint roller work great for this. If you return a clothing item in new condition (absolutely no dog hair on it) we will waive the restocking fee. If the clothing item has doggie sme

Dogs need raincoats?

posted 5 years ago

I wish people wouldn't dress their pets up so much. I don't know too many dogs who actually prefer to wear raincoats in the rain. However, at least THIS product has some practical use to it.

Pros: Could be helpful

Cons: Poor dogs!

Keeps them dry!

posted 5 years ago

This wind and rain gear coat is essential for any dog who wants to make a rainy day fashion statement. The velcro closure running the length of the back makes it extremely user friendly, and dogs seem to appreciate the protection from moisture it provides.

Pros: Adorable and practical

Cons: none
