Wonderful food for Adult Rabbits

posted 5 years ago

My foster bunny, Lucky Charm, would only eat Kaytee's Timothy-based Rabbit Pellets. He nearly starved before I figured out that he would not eat alfalfa-based pellets. I felt great feeding this food to Lucky Charm. After a few weeks, he started to shed his old coat and a gorgeous coat grew in. This told me that Kaytee's Timothy has wonderful nutrients that help create a healthy bunny from the inside out.

Pros: Great size and price, easily accepted by rabbits, low dust, no seeds

Cons: addictive

At least it is all timothy hay!

posted 5 years ago

I appreciated being able to find this food for my foster rabbit. I combined this with real timothy hay in her cage and she enjoyed it. I gave her daily fresh salads using fresh veges and this pellet was a nice adjunct to that.

Pros: timothy hay only

Cons: expensive
