Mix with other food...
posted 5 years ago
My vet said that this is not a good food to feed by itself. But I mix a 14 pound bag of this (which I pay $15 at Wal-Mart) with a 25 pound bag of regular pellets (which I pay $7 at Wal-Mart) and it gives a pretty good distribution of the expensive, coloful food with the standard rabbit pellets. My rabbit eats everything that I put in her dish and a total 30 pounds of food lasts quite a long time so the money issue doesn't seem like such a hassle.
Pros: Adds variety to diet.

Bunny Chow Time !
posted 6 years ago
The bunnies at Somerset Regional Animal Shelter in Bridgewater, NJ, are given whatever food we obtain either by donation or by purchase. This product is bought at the local PetSmart, and the bunnies enjoy it.
Pros: availability; good ingredients
Cons: Not always available in stock at Petsmart or Petco
