This Is TERRIFIC!!!!!!!!! Thank You!!!!!
posted 6 years ago
This is a GREAT bird feeder that is very reasonably priced, especially considering its durability and practicality. It definitely keeps the squirrels out of the bird food and it is nice to be able to fill it up with sunflower seeds or whatever and be able to wake up and still see some food inside!!!!! Since it has a large tube capacity, a lot of food can be kept inside and it isn't necessary to keep refilling it (unless you get a large number of birds at once who consume it all).
I have noticed that snow will accumulate between the wire cage and the feeder, but that is understandable and something that is attributed to the weather, not really a defect in the product since the product is designed to keep squirrels (not snow!) out.
This really is nice for backyard bird feeding, and I'd recommend it for anyone who feeds the wild birds.

I forgot to mention that it is also nice that the small birds get to eat as much as they want without the larger birds interfering. Very nice for the "little ones".

The bottom of the one I bought "rusted out" after less than a year's use, but I liked it well-enough to purchase a second one. (I made a substitute bottom for the broken one so that the whole unit would not be wasted.)
Pros: Stury, durable, large, and squirrel-resistant for a reasonable price!
Cons: Top can be difficult to close, especially if seeds interfere
