The tubs seem expensive but they usually last me atleast a half of year. When you feed your bird seeds, they sort out the healthy ones and eat the fattening ones. The good seeds land on your floor, furnishings. Nutriberries are a combination of grains and seeds. They are set up where your bird will likely eat them all. They also are a good source of exercise. Mine loves to throw them, roll them and he holds them with his paws to eat them
