Parrots must have balanced nutrition that only a pellet diet can provide. While a variety of seeds, nuts and fruit are good and should be given as well, all birds need to be on something like zupreem pellets.
This product is o.k. but it is low grade and if you are going to feed this alongside a pellet diet there are much better products on the market with more variety, better grade food, bigger chunks of fruit, etc.

Cons: Not to be used as main source of your birds healthy diet

This is a great standard parrot mix that we use for our shelter birds. It is a good idea to supplement this with fresh fruits and veggies, etc. depending on your parrot's needs, as a seed-based diet is not enough.

This is good nutritious food for larger birds but it is expensive. I found that my cockatoo likes this food a bit better than a lot of others but cheaper food seems to work just as well.

Pros: My cockatto enjoys this mix

Cons: Its a bit pricey

This is what I am feeding my son's parrot that I am pet sitting. She likes the food a lot and always eats the peanuts first!
