L&M Animal Farms makes a good quality small animal food. Their Hamster Food Blend works great for gerbils too. Mine eat it alot, along with square meal blocks and an occasional treat.

We fed my son's hamster L/M Classic blend. He lived for 3 years. Seemed real healthy and never had health issue. L/M is easy to locate in discount stores. Not too expensive, so I was able to let my son have the responsibility of purchasing his pets food.

Just picked up a bag of this for the office hamster. I was in a hurry and the packaging and the fact that I was in a "nice" pet store had me thinking it was going to be costly--I was pleasantly surprised that it was actually quite low and the hammies really dug right in and seem to like the variety of "stuff" in it. I'll surely be going back for more.

I have mixed opinions about the product...my hamisters did not care for the food at all....why ?
I have no explanation...
One thing I had to always have a plastic container for storage...bag was not good...food got stale easy after it was open...
But I am sure some hamisters enjoy it....mine are maybe just spoiled...

My friend uses this product, and she claims it is great! She says the animals gobble it right up. They seem to like the taste of it, which is good.
