I regularly brush my guinea pigs. I've tried all sorts of brushes for them, but found the best brush to meet my needs is a cat brush by Safari. The main reason I like it is because the bristles are firm enough to brush out debris in the fur, but soft enough that it doesn't scratch or irritate their skin. The bristles clean up nicely with soap and water but I would have preferred a plastic handle that wouldn't absorb water. The wood is sealed, but I'm sure some of the water is still absorbed in the wood.
Pros: Soft Bristles, small enough to brush a small pet
