LLBean Toe Warmers keep feet toasty for winter rides—or any other cold-weather sport.
June 29, 2010 1:24 pm | By Zootoo Editor Mary T.
Perfect for early morning rides in cold weather, the LLBean Toe Warmers are truly a lifesaver when the temperature drops. These convenient devices are often referred to by their full name - Wicked Good" Toe Warmers - and I would have to agree. The toe warmers certainly carry quite a punch for their small size. As promised, they can heat up to your body's temperature (and even a little over). But despite their significant warming powers, I have never found these toe warmers to be overly hot.
When using the toe warmers, the benefits to your frozen toes extend long past a few hours, making them ideal not only for horse riding, but also for other winter sports that you might tackle. I have even found that on particularly cold winter days, the toe warmers are great to have on hand for any outdoor work that I need to accomplish, and I try to keep a couple of extra packets in my car for emergencies.
As an additional benefit, the LLBean Toe Warmers are made from all-natural and nontoxic components. The design also produces a comfortable fit, although paddock boot wearers may find the fit overly snug. But I would recommend the LLBean toe warmers over other heat insoles, which can slip annoyingly.
Frequent riders should also investigate buying the toe warmers in multiples, which allows you to save significantly over the individual price. Because, trust me, once you start using these gems, you and your family members won't want to find yourself without them.
Pros: Affordable and long-lasting, without the annoying slips of similar products. And warming agents are non-toxic and non-combustible.
Cons: Depending on your boot’s fit, the toe warmers may cause a pinch.

these are the next best thing since hand warmers. i just can't say enough about either. it is hard to be out riding or working outside in the winter and these make it a whole lot easier to be out for as long as you want to or have to. try them
Pros: you can be outside in winter longer
Cons: none
