This is the only hoof shine I use. I use the clear only because I show Appaloosas and only clear is allowed (because bold hoof striping is a breed characteristic) Very easy to apply and get complete coverage. The applicator makes it easy to be certain that you have the whole hoof covered without glopping it on the hair at the coronet. It dries quickly so I apply as close to "showtime" as possible as one of my final touches. If you drop the applicator into the dirt (I'm a clutz so have done this repeatedly) just rinse before replacing in the container or it will muck up the contents. Highly recommend - don't show without it!

We wanted the green glitter polish for the mini's hooves during the St. Patrick's Day parade. The local tack store didn't have any but recommended using Super Sheen with regular glitter. The test run seems very promising althought the mini's look a bit weird out in the pasture right now.

I use this on all our horses for an added shine and strenghth! Dries quickly and is easy to apply. Comes in clear and black and can buy for a reasonable price at Tractor Supply, most feed stores and from your Equine Supply catalogs.
