Not blue over the Blueberries

posted 5 years ago

Blueberries are a great source of antioxidants and vitamins. I know they are good for me and I researched and found they are good for my dogs.

I also have noticed lots of food and treats having blueberries in them. So that is nice as it is a natural ingredient which we are now looking for in our snacks for the dogs.

The only problem is getting them fresh is a little costly. So we only get the frozen ones, which the dogs like just as much.

Blueberries, a natural treat for you and your dogs.

Pros: taste great. a snack we can share

Cons: cost

Yummy for you and your pup!!

posted 4 years ago

Blueberries are full of antioxidants, Vitamins C & E, manganese, and fiber. They can be expensive if you are buying them fresh, but they are less costly if purchased frozen (& still pack a healthful punch!).

Introduce these to your dog VERY SLOWLY! As with fruits in humans, there can be some unpleasant side effects (diarrhea) if your pup gorges on these!

Feel free to serve them whole, or mash them slightly. Let your dog be your guide in this area!

Pros: Healthy!

Cons: Can be expensive
