I have a pair of cordless clippers that I use to trim the fur on a couple of my pups. I used them more with my old terrier mix but I pull them out for the beagles from time to time as they need arises. I have had these clippers for a long time thanks to Kool Lube. First introduced to it by my shelter’s staff, it works to keep the blades from heating up during use and cleans and oils the blades which has extended the life of my clippers. I typically pick up a can of this about monthly to send out to the shelter where the clippers are used often to clean up strays that they receive. I know they’ve tried other brands but the money is well spent on Oster.

I clip alot of animals that come into the shelter with all kinds of "issues" but especially long haired cats who are all matted and need to be trimmed over a long period of time. Without this coolant, the clippers overheat (not good for the clippers) and will actually burn the sensitive skin of the animal (not good for the animal!)

I use this product when grooming, easy to use. Quick spray and my blades are ready to go again without leaving a risdue on my dogs.

This is a must have if you clip anything. I body clip horses for show. In order to keep my blades cool and clean I use Oster Kool Lube. I do not get any clipper marks on the coat, the clippers do not heat up and burn the horse. This is a must have for any clipping job.
