Some years ago I ended up on the In the Company of Dogs mailing list, probably in response to some other dog related publication's public list. Even though I've only ordered once, I continue to get the catalog on a semi-regular basis, and I enjoy flipping through to see what new gifts for dog lovers are being promoted this time around.

Most of the items are overpriced for what they are though, and, to be honest, I'd rather buy stuff for my dogs instead of spending it on silly kitsch for myself.

This is a really cool dog catalog--filled with awesome dogs using the articles they sell--like the big selection of beds, dog clothes, collars, leashes, grooming supplies, assisted living products, rugs, gates, crates, toys of all kinds, people clothes for dog lovers, art works, and on and on. There's great stuff thoughout the catalog. You can even enter your dogs photo into the Stardog contest--if they publish the picture you win $100 gift certificate.

Pros: big selection

I don't know why I'm on this mailing list, but I'm more of a "bare bones" type of dog owner than this catalog caters to. The clothes, accessories, and excessive "gadgets" for dogs I find way over the top.

Cons: nothing really useful, in my opinion

Somehow, I got on the mailing list for this catalog. I must say, it does have some really cute items for dogs. Unfortunately, my two beasts would tear a lot of the stuff up.

Pros: Interesting variety of items

I like In the Company of Dogs Catalog and think it offers an intersting variety of products including the basics and some more unique things.
