All cats need toys
posted 4 years ago
I believe that all animals need toys. They need something around in case of boredom and just something to release some energy. Any cat toy will do: balls, mice, stuffed animals, etc. My cats two favorite toys are those plastic balls with little bells in them they love the noise and a plastic stick that has a stretchy piece of fabric on the end with three felt fish attached to the end that we bought at dollar tree. They will play with them for ours. The down side to having lots of toys which isn't really a bad thing but you will find cats toys everywhere. I have found toys in my bed, in the bath tub, in the sink, in the fish bowls, in my coat, and yes sad but oh so true i have recently found a toy in the toilet...
Pros: excerise, takes away energy, makes cats happy
Cons: find toys all over :)

Good exercise
posted 4 years ago
All cats need toys. They can only eat & sleep so much and they get bored just like people do. All my cats have their favorites. Cubby likes her fur covered mice. Princess likes feather toys. Solo likes her exercise wands and even carries them around in her mouth when she wants to play. Emma & Silver like anything that scoots across the floor or chasing the laser light. Of course they all like anything involving string. But whatever a cat likes I think as responsible pet parents we should spend some time bonding & playing with our pets.
Pros: provides bonding time
Cons: none

Cats never outgrow toys!
posted 4 years ago
Cats need toys! Our almost 13 year old cat still plays like a kitten with cat toys, & I believe it's helped keep him fit & 'young'. Toys are good for them because it helps keep them mentally & physically stimulated, exercise for the body and mind. Balls, catnip mice, even wadded up tinfoil are some of their favorites.
Pros: cats like to play
Cons: none

A must

Cats need toys just like dogs do. You would be surprised what a little furry mouse will bring into the life of your cat. They throw them in the air, bat em across the room and bring it to you for praise.
Pros: fun
Cons: none
