I have 8 cats and 4 dogs inside my home. The dogs think that the litter box is a candy store. This let me put all my litter boxes in the basement with the cat flap in my basement door so only the cats could get to the litter boxes :) What a great idea! It works so well and the new kittens even pick up on pushing the door open rather quickly. The kids put a sign above the flap that says " NO DOGS ALLOWED" LOL

This is a good cat door that I've used for awhile. The plastic is sturdy and it's simple to install. My cats figured it out easily and use it routinely. It has a magnetic closure device that works nicely and it's relatively quiet...just a swish. I recommend it for a simple device to let your cats go in and out without always having to open the door.

We have one of these at my house which i thought was great when we moved in. I figured that it would be wonderful so willie and libby could run out and play and come back in when they tired; however, too my surprise one day I came home to find other cats inside my house. Truely a surprise. Great for the cats though!

Pros: cats can get out

Cons: Other cats got in.

It certainly was nice not to see their poo. It helped keep some of the smell in too.

But my cat continued to find ways to track litter everywhere and wouldn't walk on those mats intended to pull it out of her paws, she'd do the most awkward things to avoid them...

Pros: they got used to it quick

Cons: doesn't fix "tracking" issues

My mimi has 4 cats, and she just had my dad come and install this for her. It's very easy and the cats figured it out pretty quick. They love it because now they don't have to wait for someone to come open the door for them when they're ready to go out or come in.

Pros: easy to figure out
