I feed the green seaweed (not purple) to my convict tang. He just loves it. He eats so much his stomach looks like it's going to burst. I've been feeding him this and formula two flakes and some frozen stuff since I got him two months ago. He went from being a sickly skinny fish to the fattest fish in the tank! He's completely filled out and you can't see all his bones any more (it was pretty bad). I do feed brown algae occasionally, but just as a treat since it's not as nutritious.

One down side to this food is that some pieces will tear off when he's eating and will float around the tank. Also my angels in a different tank don't seem to like this food, but it might just be because they don't know how to eat off a veggie clip yet.

My tangs and rabbit fish go crazy over these. They are a natural food source for them. I have to order this online as no local source for them.

We have fed this to our salt water fish and they love it!! Its great for them and I think it acts like a live prey animal for them.
