Overall,I've never had a store bought Betta that would eat these flakes.It's only been Betta's that I've raised since they started as eggs,and that's because they started out with a varied diet from the get-go.
Most people don't realize that Betta's tummies are smaller than /or about the size of their eye,so very little is needed to keep them well fed. With the flakes,you tend to over feed,which means that the Betta's may be getting too much at one meal,and your chances of fouling the water in his tank are much greater,because of that.
Tetra is normally a great product,don't get me wrong.I just feel better with feeding frozen bloodworms,or Betta Bites.

I fed Bettamin Flakes to my first betta. He loved this food, and his color improved immediately, and remained vibrant. I also found that my guppies enjoyed these flakes, and their color also improved. I've never had fish live as long as they did while I was feeding this product.

It's affordable, it's easy to find, and fish like it.

The downside (if you can call it that) is that flake foods are more processed than the more "natural" feeding choices. I now feed bloodworms instead, but would likely go back to this product if it doesn't work out with the bloodworms with the existing fish I have.

Bettas are so beautiful that's it's hard to leave them at the pet shop. But since they like to be loners it's hard to have several. Tetra brand betta food is liked by my betta and his color is gorgeous. Good product.
