A good manual to begin positive dog training.

For anyone thinking about pursuing a "positive dog training" method this is a good read. I found it very helpful and informative. It helps you recognize the "bad" signs when training a dog. It reminds you that raising your voice or yelling or getting frustrated with the dog will not do any good. It's more confusing to the dog than helpful. It was great at reminding you that even though it may be time consuming to train this way at the beginning that in the long run it will be VERY worthwhile. I recommend this book.
Pros: informative, easy to understand
