Our local friends

posted 6 years ago

Our local paper always prints photos of our dogs and cats up for adoption (in full color). They always list our fundraisers, free of charge, and also list our found pets free of charge in the lost and found section, often enabling us to reunite pets with owners. Great pet-friendly newspaper.

Pros: local and friendly

Cons: none

Good local news

posted 6 years ago

The Valley News Dispatch has been in publication for many many years. It covers the news in the Alle-Kiski area and Pittsburgh. The Valley paper is very good to us. They advertise all the new dogs and cats that come into our shelter. The animal write ups are in the lost and found section of the paper for 3 days. In hopes that the owners will come and be reunited with their lost pets.

Pros: good to our shelter

Cons: none
