Great for the Younger Nature Lover

posted 6 years ago

Excellent photographs bring the reptiles to life. Photographs and written descriptions appear on the same page -- unlike the larger Audubon field guides where the photos are separate. This is a very nice format for the budding young nature explorer.

Another nice addition is the 3 "look-alikes" or "related species" along the right side of the page.

The beginning of the book offers lots of information on how to use the field guide and reptiles themselves. Just enough info. to keep the interest, without being overwhelming.

The "First Field Guide" series offers a really nice selection of titles to get any youngster started!

Pros: Smaller size; durable covers

Cons: Not as in-depth as other guides

I have 3 cats and they love this food. They eat less and walk away with a full belly. Eating less means pooping less and less litter. All around a great choice for my cats.
