Excellent Book

posted 5 years ago

This book is an excellent resource for any shelter or potential dog owner who is looking to add their first dog to their home. It gives an honest look at hundreds of breeds of dogs, telling you both the good and the bad. This book doesn't sugar coat the differences in breeds and make it sound like every dog is perfect for every home, which we know is not the truth. It really gives a good breakdown on everything from the dog's activity level to it's lifespan and everything you can think of in between. A must have for any shelter or vet clinic library.

Pros: Very user friendly, tells the good and bad, very useful

Cons: Getting hard to find!
