i read this as an adult and loved it as much as i would ave as a child. it sits next to marley and me and my other dog books including reference books. this would make a great gift for your children. it they are too young to read it is a great book to read to them. just wonderful

Trehune wrote many books and this one is a classic. Young or old would enjoy reading this book. I have this among others of his in my library. It is a wonderful read.
