i had always used the north american field guide to outdoor birds. but since i live in pa this has becomemy favorite. birds i didn't even know came here or couldn't recognise are detaied in this book. i am glad they are geting more reigon specific

I purchased this a while back because I had a lot of Bird Feeder's set up around the yard,and during certain times of the year,I would see birds that were unfamiliar to me.This book has nice pictures and it gives you some information on each of the birds,which was a great help for me,when it came to what special foods I needed to buy.

Pros: easy reading and nice illistrations

I saw this book at a relative's house and looked through it. I was delighted by the information and photos. Good book!
