I read this book to my son and I still have this tattered book to give to his first child. I was baby sitting two little girls for several weeks and the book came out for their bedtime story. They loved the rythm.

Love the original Cat in the Hat, and this one is good too. I have the set from when I was a kid. Timeless stories that never seem to get old. Dr. Seuss had so many classics it's hard to choose sometimes.

The Dr. Seuss books never let you down. They are unique and enjoyable for young children. The fact of the animals show such intelligence I believe will teach children of the animal's importance to us all.

I love this book. From when I was little reading it to myself, to myself reading it to kids, it's an all around great book. Kids always crack up at this. And the movie to go with it is even better!
