I had the pleasure of meeting the author of this book, Judith Kristen, at an event at the YALE school in cherry Hill, NJ, 2 weeks ago.
The story is about a rescued Old English Sheepdog named Henley whom the author saved as a neglected puppy from a puppy mill (situation) in pennsylvania.

The story is sweet and will make you laugh and cry. It is suitable for children and for adults. Henley was there at the event too and he was a true sweetie pie!
the author, judy, was wonderful and donates a lot of her proceeds from her books to shelters.

The Yale school donated $114 to our shelter from the sale of this book.

I really liked the part about Mandy and the special relationship between mandy & Henley.
very nice that the author donates $$ to shelters & rescues. She is a nice lady.
