Cats Are Special is a book of cat quotes and photos. I only wish I could take such amazing, close-up color photographs. But, the best part of this little book are the quotes about cats. Some are the old stand-bys--Twain, Eliot--but there are many that I have not seen before that are great. I have an older aunt who is a big cat person--she loves when we include little cat quotes when we send cards. This book provides some terrific new ones.

Being in the animal welfare field equates to receiving many gifts that are pet related. I received this book as a gift and thought..."Oh no...another worthless book."

But I have to admit....this book is wonderful. I love the quotes and phtography. It is one of the nicer books I have received and I really enjoyed reading through it.

It does make a nice gift.
