I recently found Wellness canned cat food products at a local pet nutrition store and always in the market to find more healthy alternatives to commercially produced well-known cat foods tried a few varieties. The list of ingredients here is pretty impressive. Salmon, Chicken, Trout are the first three. Followed by Fish Broth, Ground Brown Rice, Carrots, Sweet Potatoes, Squash, Zucchini, Guar Gum, Cranberries, Blueberries, Catrageenan (a food additivie extracted from seaweed), Potassim Chloride (a mineral), Taurine (an dietary essential for cats), lots of added vitamins and minerals and Choline Choride (not too happy with that one--an organic compound important additive for chicken where it accelerates growth). All in all very superior to most readily available cat foods. My cats liked it OK. I have noticed with the better quality foods the consistency is somewhat thicker and that takes some getting used to. Don't think they need all those veggies and fruits, but I will buy again.

Pros: No Meat By-Products - No Artificial Colors or Preservatives
