The sublimely beautiful Persian cat is a breed in the feline species. The Persian, the most widespread cat breed in the world, has many special featurs: it is a brachycephalic breed (round head with a short muzzle), this special facial morphology leading to unique feeding behavior. The Persian cut also has a very long (4 to 8 inches) and very dense coat. This extremely long fur makes it particularly susceptible to problems of hairballs, whihch form within the intestines from hairs while grooming. Persian 30 has been formulated by our Royal Canin veterinary nutritionists and offers a complete balanced food adapted to the specific physiological characteristics of adult Persian cats. Dietary features include: Easy Prehension: An ergonomic kibble whose shape, size and texture have been specially designed to make it easier for your Persian cat to grasp. Hairball Control: An exclusive combination of viscous and insoluble fibers (Pysllium) that improve intestinal transit and promote the elimination of hairballs. Natural Color Force: A nutrient system that enhances the intensity of the ha'rs natural pigmentation leaving your Persian more beautiful than ever. Persian 39 also reduces tartar deposits to improve and hygiene and strengthens your cat's natural immune defenses by means of a patented complex of synergistic antioxidants. Optimal Food Freshness: Packaged under a protective controlled atmosphere to conserve all the product's natural and nutritional qualities.

Well, I liked it but...

posted 5 years ago

Pretty much just what I listed in the pros & cons. I thought it was a good food, natural ingredients, specific to my Princess, nice shape and size, made her less knotty and coat looked great. BUT I had a hard time getting her to eat it, she just didn't seem to like it. It's too bad because I would have kept getting it even though it was a little expensive.

Pros: it seemed like the perfect food

Cons: the kitty didn't like it & a little pricey

Great product

posted 5 years ago

I think it is great that Royal Canin developed a diet specific to the special needs of Persians. Royal Canin is a great company that our shelter recommends to many of our clients, and they have a wide variety of foods for all types of cats.

Pros: Breed specific diet

Cons: n/a
