I have had my cat Pumpkin since 1996 and she has always had a problem with her stomach. About 5 to 10 minutes after she eats her soft food in the morning, she vomits. She would do this about 3 times a week and I would find vomit later on in the day if it was not in the morning. We always have a bowl of hard food for her so she is not just very hungry in the morning and overeats. After trying Friskies, Nine Lives, and others like this we finally tried Fancy Feast. Since we have been feeding her this she does not vomit as often. I find some every once in awhile but that is normal from what I have been told from other cat owners. She likes the variety pack that I buy at the local bulk store and I would recommend this to anyone else who is having this problem or looking for a good quality soft cat food.

By complete accident, I had to buy this variety pack because our local W______ doesn't carry just Ocean Whitefish. I decided to use up the cans of Salmon and the Sole as the lunchtime feedings for my two elderly cats. I decided they would be hungry, but not starved since they had already had the breakfast can of Ocean Whitefish. My two cats are nine to ten years old (rescues) and have never been willing to eat ANYTHING moist except Fancy Feast Ocean Whitefish & Tuna Feast. Surprise of surprises, after they reluctantly tried the other two, they held out eating at breakfast one day, knowing the Salmon or Sole was coming for lunch! This is monumental for these two picky eaters.

My cat Buster loves the salmon flavor the most. If he smells is anywhere he'll beg for hours. The cost isn't usually an issue because we constant feed him dry food and he usually only gets a large spoonful at dinner.

Pros: It's my cats all time favorite food

Cons: The cost can be just a little high on my budget

We have a diabetic cat that was having issues with losing weight. This variety pack was recommended to us by our vet's office as a way to to help put some weight back on our kitty in a healthy manner.

He LOVES the food. He gets a half a can twice a day during shot time. He doesn't care about getting a shot--all he wants is the food.

It also has been helping to stabilize his weight.

As with all health conditions, ask your vet about what you should and should not feed your specific cat. But I do recommend asking your vet if this is a viable option for your kitty.
