Tripett products are made from pure green tripe from the highest quality human grade sources and mirror what our dogs' wild counterparts instinctively feed on. Green (Green simply means the tripe is pure and unbleached) Beef Tripe contains all the partially digested grasses in a cow's stomach and is rich in digestive enzymes, essential fatty acids and many other nutrients important to your dog's health. Tripett is intended to be mixed with dry or raw food. Don't think of it as a canned food to replace your current feeding program. Ingredients: Beef Tripe, Water, Garlic, Vegetable Gum. Analysis: Min. Protein 11%, Min. Fat 7%, Max. Fiber 5%, Max. Moisture 79.8%. Tripett is made from green tripe and uses no preservatives, fillers, or artificial ingredients. The benefit of ?Green? Tripe is that the partially digested food the animal has consumed is retained and is rich in essential fatty acids and natural stomach juices, and has not been stripped of all essential nutritional value. Because Tripett uses no filler ingredients (it is pure tripe), the product can vary in texture, smell, and color. You can expect to see a product that ranges from a light beige/tan color, to a darker grey with black color. Sometimes the product will appear dryer and sometimes it will be more wet. Fat will collect at times in little white clumps. This is all standard with green tripe and you can expect all points in between. Occasionally hair digested in the cows stomach will pass through into production unnoticed ? this is completely harmless.

Smells bad but tastes good

posted 6 years ago

dogs love this product, i give it to my dogs once a week and they usually are looking for more. Giving the dogs variety keeps them happy. I switch between this and their regular food and once a week they get mackerel also. My dogs love to eat. We first started out with kibble and after awhile I had to really coax them to eat. Not anymore.

Pros: dogs love this

Cons: smells really bad
