Peanut, Butter, And Jelly's top pick of treats is the Chicken Jerky Tenders, but a close runner up is Purina Carvers. These oven cooked treats come in beef and chicken flavors with no artificial colors and flavors, also no by products. The only draw back is its $4 bucks for 6 pieces, very pricey. But my local pet shop has them buy one get one so I picked up several. There naturaly high in protien and they come in a re-sealable bag. A nice break from the jerky tenders, for the dogs. Wish I knew the recipe....:-)

Our dogs got these in their Christmas stocking from the in-laws this year. They truly loved them. They smell like real chicken, but I know better. They are very large treats and not many come in a bag. They can be broken up into smaller chunks, but I just don't get why they're so big! Not a lot of "bang for the buck," which is a total turn off to me. Not to mention all the additives and sugars...

These treats are large tan chips that are primarily chicken -- lightly seasoned and oven cooked, according to the bag. (I liked the idea that they weren't irradiated.) The crude protein is 38% and the Crude Fat is 4.0%, so that sounded good to me. The dog definitely likes them, but I expected that they would be a tougher type of chew -- not as tough as rawhide, but somewhat similar -- well, they're really not what I expected. The dog wolfs one down in mere seconds.

Pros: Over 80% Real Chicken

Cons: Last 10 Seconds

The second I took the 1st one out of the bag my dog was in love. Now all I have to do is pick up the bag and he comes running. It's really fun to see his reaction to something that he enjoys eating!

Pros: Must taste wonderful!

Cons: expensive, but you get what you pay for I guess
