My dog has only been on this food for three weeks, but I can tell the difference it is making. When I got her from a shelter, her coat was dull and she had terrible dandruff. Now her fur is shiny, and I never see dandruff.

My dogs are "homecooked" for, but due to an illness in my family, and someone else having to care for my dogs other than myself, I bought a few cans of this OVER-PRICED food in the event I wasn't available to make their meals.

My cocker spaniel was the only one that would even eat any of it, and very little at that. That should have been my first clue since I mainly have beagles who will eat anything. But, I guess their noses are smarter than I am.

After my Cocker Spaniel ate about a half of cup of this, the next morning, I hear her throwing up and when I went to check on her, it was solid blood. I immediately whisked her off to the vet and she underwent extensive testing only to find out that the food was tainted and was indeed one of the foods in the major recall that Nutro never even added to the list until weeks later.

Thank God my dog survived, after being treated for months after for stomach issues and urine crystals due to this food. And by the way, Nutro was indeed informed in no uncertain terms and has yet to respond. I also have tons of medical proof for this and a hefty bill to prove it!

My four dogs love the taste and their coats have never looked better. One of them has a food allergy so we have to be careful, but Nutro Ultra works really well for him.

We get this food donated to the shelter. We always mix several different foods together in one big tub. We try and pick a good food with more natural things in it and a then a medium of the road food, and a low end food. This is a high end, all natural, great food in my opinion.

The dogs love the taste, and we love that it is so good for them. We love the all natural, but just don't get it donated enough.

I've fed my dogs this food for about 3 years. They've never had a problem with it and although its a little expensive, I've been told its worth it. Now there are pieces of tidbits of information out there that says that the company that makes this food was purchased by the Mars Corporation. Mars Corporation changed the formula of this food, there are more recalls happening, and I've been told that dogs are becoming ill from the food with symptoms that resemble antifreeze poisioning. I do not know these things for a fact which is why I hesitated writing this, but I did read a zootoo article about the Mars Corporation and the recalls and I figure if there is information floating out there, bringing it to light for discussion is important. If anyone knows anything, feel free to comment!
