Hill's Science Diet Senior 5+ Breed Dog Food

We used Adult and then Senior Science Diet for our dog. She always had good health reviews from our vet and never any digestion issues.

When we occasionally had to use another dog food, we noticed a immediate and significant increase in both the amount she ate and the amount of poo she generated.

I'm convinced we actually didn't spent that much more in the long run, given that less is needed to give the god the right nutrition. It was definitely worth it due to the very significant reduction in backyard cleanup!!

Pros: Great for older dog. Much less mess in the backyard!

Cons: More expensive, but completely worth it (read on)

I like Science Diet products. ..and the senior diet is no exception. I often use it as a basic staple. However I do think you need to supplement it with something of a higher quality which is what I do by adding good canned food to the kibble.
