We all rode when we were kids and my sister had a horse up until a few months ago, so I am not completely clueless about horses. I did learn quite a bit of information from this little book. But, I don't think a true horse person would find all that much new information. The book contains 101 questions and answers about horses. No answer is more than a couple pages long, so it is quick and straightforward. There are some personal horse stories that the authors have included that are quite interesting, although not necessarily included for their information value. The questions cover topics as varied as a horses memory to how they ship horses from Europe to the United States. An entertaining and informative book.

I loved this book. It was light and funny but very informative at the same time. I highly recommend this book for both beginners because it is informative and experienced because they will sit and laugh and say "Yup, that's right."
