When Shreve Stockton adopts a eyes closed baby coyote she knows its a commitment. The experts tell her it will not end well. She starts taking pictures of Charlie and e-mailing them to her friends, which turns into a blog, which turns into a commercial enterprise and finally into this book. The book is full of emotion and stories of Charlie the coyote and his family of cats, dogs, horses and geese. I recommend this book to any animal lover.

I found this book by accident -- the picture on the cover was excellent.

The story is a wonderful - 'march to your own drummer' kind of tale. It is thoughtful, funny, engaging, somber and sweet all in one.

The relationship this author develops with her neighbors, nature, Charlie, her lover and herself are well written, clear and endearing.

I found this book while I was strolling around barnes and noble and automatically picked it up. The book was informative and gives you an idea of what it takes to raise a coyote and also what it is like to live in a rural area. The pictures are a great bonus.
