I bought this book while on a trip to Iowa. It a collection of stories of a country vet. I read one of the stories to my kids and ended up having to read almost the entire book on the way home. They loved it. Don't be fooled by the title. It refers to a woman who told her kid that her dying dog wouldn't go to heaven and the kid said then she didn't want to go.
If you are looking for good laughs and good stories - pick this one up!
Pros: humorous, short stories, good for kids
