Inspiring and well written

If you like to hike, are familiar with the Appalachian Trail, and/or enjoy learning about the bond between guide dogs and their partners, this is the book for you! This is the incredible truestory of Bill Irwin and Orient, his German Shepherd guide dog, who walked the entire Appalachian Trail (over 2000 miles) from Georgia to Maine. It is inspiring, to say the least, and a wonderful read.
Pros: beautiful story of a guide dog and partner hiking to A.T.

This is the incredible story of Bill Irwin and his guide dog, Orient, who hike the entire Appalachian Trail together. A real story of courage and determination. An excellent read.
