True story!

The story of Shep, a dog adopted by a sheepherder. When the man dies and is taken away by train, Shep's vigil begins. He meets every train, hoping his master will return to him. I have seen the statue of Shep, up on a hill overlooking the rail lines near Fort Benton, Montana. A wonderful story of the love and dedication of one dog for his master.
