A book to pull out whenever you need a hug

This book was a gift from a friend and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It has chapters related to several of the roles pets play in our lives... partner, teacher, protector, comforter, believer, companion, and giver. Each chapter has an inspirational message, stories, sayings, and scripture verses that illustrate the role covered in that chapter. I can pull this book out for a pick-me-up anytime.
