My girlfriend got me a subscription to this a few years ago. I had never heard of it. But it really is a good little paper rich in the latest innovations in veterinary medicine as well as behavior issues, training info and other things of concern to dog owners. I buy it now that I know what it is about.

I like the variety of topics covered in this newsletter and almost always find something to help me take better care of my dogs. I like the Expert Advice section where experts answer questions from the readers and the letters section that has letters and e-mails from readers sharing their experience. The articles provide timely reminders. For example, before the holidays, there was an article that discussed not only physical safety, but also emotional health related to the disruption to the dog's routine when owners get busy during this season.
