I grew up in a home that took in rescue dogs. I always dreamed of having a pure breed and showing and breeding.

As I got older and I took over the rescuse work I realized that I could not ve part of both worlds and focues on my mix breeds and rescues.

But I still enjoy reading this very informational magazine.

I have a Keeshond and had to learn how to brush him correctly. This is the magazine that helped to teach how to brush a long and very thick coat. For my dog I have to use a slicker brush. I would recommend for anyone that does their own dogs grooming.

This is a worthwhile magazine, though don't pay the regular subscription rate. I purchased a subscription through Amazon at a significant discount. The articles are fairly well written, but damn, it does include a lot of advertising.

I don't care how much you think you know about dogs there is always more to learn. The same is true for grooming something we all have to do. i've been reading ithis magazine for years and given prescriptions to friends as gifts.
