I've been reading Dog Fancy for about ten or twelve years now. I absolutely love their stories and breed profiles. I just wish there was more than one magazine in a month...

Pros: great stories, great info, breed profiles

Cons: not enough space in the magazine for everything

DogFancy has great pictures and an interesting article about one breed each month, but you can get that in a breed book. There used to be more fun articles, but it seems more and more of the magazine is being taken up by advertisments and sections like "canine fashion." When 1/3 of the pages were outlined in pink, I finally ended my subscription, but it's still fun to look at on occasion.

Pros: Great photography, some interesting articles

Cons: constantly getting more ads and fewer good articles

This is my all time favorite mag. The articles are very informative and vary from fly ball to grooming.
The nutritional and helath artical are writtne very well for about anyone to understand.

They "mix it up" with something fro everydogs owner from the Winsmester owners the the person just walking out of the rescue with their new mix breed. Love it, Love it, Love it!!!!!!!!!

I've subscribed to this magazine for years. It has a lot of interesting dog information each month. There is always a breed spotlight and lots of photos. The articles include topics of health, general care, training, and travel. There is also a section for questions and answers. Overall a nice magazine, but it is much cheaper to subscribe than to buy it individually.

Cons: Expensive to buy individually--subscription better
