The Trail Rider is a magazine focused on those of us who are trail and pleasure riders. I'm not a big magazine reader, but I wait for this one to come in the mail. The articles are well written by "real" riders. All breeds are featured including those of us with gaited horses so there isn't a bias towards any one group over another. I like reading the reviews on the different places to ride and different horse vacation spots. They also have people who review new products from boots (equine and human) to trailers. I have really found this magazine useful in my everyday riding. Plus, the subscription price is very affordable, I paid $20 for a year, too bad its only 6 issues!
