Backyard Poultry

We kept chickens for years. They were are pets and the eggs we got were an added bonus. My father (passed on now) used to teach them tricks. We let them free roam during the day and locked them down to protect them at night, so when ever we pulled in the driveway they'd come running like dogs. A great pet, especially if you have allergies and can't have an indoor pet. [getting off my egg carton, I mean soap box now].

The annual subscription price for this magazine is $21.00 US and I think it's well worth the price. I wish it had been around when we first got chickens.
