These seem to work the best when the horse is in a stall ,or being trailered.
Pros: Durable,
Cons: not easy to keep up

Good for a short time

We had an old mare at the barn and she was terribly bothered by flies and mosquitoes. We tried these and they worked really well for a short time but then died off quickly.
they would be ok for a trip to the woods or something but for daily repellent they just aren't the best.
