If you can only buy one first aid product this is it.

posted 4 years ago

Tea tree oil is know to be antibacterial and antifungal, so this is a great product to use especially if you don't know what the cause of a skin issue it.

It can be used to treat fungal infections of the skin, friction burns, abrasions, cuts, bug bites and more.

I used to use tiny amounts of straight tea tee oil (didn't have ointment products back then) on bite wounds on the ears of one of our cats and it worked great. I still keep a bottle of oil in addition to the ointment products, because we use it on ourselves as well.

Always keep in mind that with any kind of home care/first aid if you don't see improvement you need to consult with your vet.

Pros: One product with many uses

Cons: None

Best topical ointment

posted 4 years ago

Great for minor scrapes and even skin irritations. Teatree will also help with persistent wounds that won't go away and continue to scab. I love this.

Oh yeah. Great for humans too.

Pros: really works and fast

Cons: none noted
